UTAH!!!
So lots to share with everyone!!! I went on a huge roadtrip with my friend Sophie and it was awesome!! We spent a week in Southern Alberta, then went to Montana, then Idaho, then Utah, then Mesa, Arizona, then San Diego and Los Angeles, then Vegas and then back to Utah! So in Alberta we went to a wedding, spent some time with Mette and went quading!! It was super fun! In Montana we went horseback riding!! It was fun and the view was beautiful! In Idaho we met up briefly with some old friends and then in Utah we just spent time with friends again. We went to St. George, Utah where we saw some old Church History sites and the St. George temple! We arrived in Mesa on the night of June 10th and had such a great time there! We went and spent the weekend with the missionary that baptized me, Josh Durrant. We went four-wheeling and watched a movie under the stars! Me and him also got to visit the Mesa temple which was amazing! I went to my first professional baseball game! Cheered on the Arizona Diamondbacks! haha. I got a free shirt and a free bag.. and even a free bobble-head!! haha. It was way fun! I also got to hold his half-brother.. who is a baby!! And I love holding babies haha. On the Monday we went to San Diego and went surfing!! Not sure if you would call what we did "surfing"... but it was way fun anyway! Exhausting too! We then visited the San Diego temple... except it was under some renovations... then we headed to Laguna Beach to watch the sun set! It was absolutely gorgeous!! After that we visited the Newport Beach Temple.. and then headed to LA! In LA we just walked around and stopped for a bite to eat. We were sooo exhausted! We drove through the night... and by "we".. I mean Sophie... I barely drove poor girl. We arrived in Vegas at 6am... slept until 2pm and then visited the Las Vegas temple... stopping by at Sonic for a delicious meal! haha. We then went back to the hotel and walked along the strip! Got some epic pictures with Iron Man.. and then headed back home for our last night together! The next day I had some major car problems.... but finally at 5pm I was headed to Provo, UT! (Sophie had flown out that morning) I got to Utah and spent two nights at my friend Angela's! On that Friday, the 18th, I moved into my very cute and lovely apartment!!! My roommates, Izzy and Rachel, are from Gilbert, AZ and I love them!! They are so awesome!! Last weekend I also got to go to a friend's wedding which was so great and visit with some people. School started on Monday and I love it!!! I am so into it and working really hard! It's so much easier for school to be your entire focus when you are away from home! :)
I love my school, it's a beautiful campus!! And I love how I am encouraged to be a better person spiritually as I establish my education too! The teachers are so awesome and I just love the spirit here!! I am taking Spanish and Mission Prep. My Spanish class is really teaching me a lot!! It's very focused on my weaknesses!! The past-tense... and accents!! That's what we are working on!!
Last night I went to the Manti Pageant! It's a church Pageant and it was the second-last night! The temple there is beautiful and it was cool to see so many people there!! I met some sister missionaries and we got to chat for a little while! I love them!! I told them about my friend Leanne Harvey who will be coming to the St. George mission in September!!
Anyway, I love where I am at and am so happy! I miss the family though! Wish you guys could all be here!! But then I wouldn't get much of my homework done.... watch for pictures soon!!

Besos and love you all!!!

Moving!!!

Hey everyone!! Wow, it's been way too long since I posted anything!! I will put up some pictures to catch everyone up!! So... a quick rundown of my life since September: I finished the Fall semester and headed down with the family to Brazil!! I'm sure you have all seen pictures by now! Then I got back and was super busy catching up in school, then my best friend, Andrew Chester, was baptized! It was so great to be a part of that!!! Then the Olympics came around... I got to touch a famous country singer... haha... and then my Church dedicated a temple in Vancouver! Now that's worth talking about! We have over 20,000 chapels all over the world but only 130 temples.. well, now 131! :) The President of the Church, the Prophet, Thomas S. Monson came and dedicated it! Also, the same weekend, before he dedicated the temple, 1,200 youth performed a show of the history of BC and the Saints here. I was a counsellor during that weekend for 20 of those amazing youth! Being responsible for 20 kids on my own, and having them all have to be at all different locations throughout the day made me appreciate mothers just a bit more!! My group were 12-14 years old... so it was a bit hard to keep them together and engaged in everything! But we all had a ton of fun! The Prophet spoke to them before the show and it was so great!!! We have truly been incredibly blessed! So that Sunday the temple was dedicated in 3 sessions. (Technically it was in the first one, but they do the other two for people to get a chance to attend, especially parents.) I got to be in the sealing room (where families are sealed together for time and all eternity) for the first session!! So I got to be INSIDE THE TEMPLE!!! I was sooo blessed to have that opportunity!! The feelings of the Spirit were so strong there and it was such an amazing event to take part in!! I actually got to be in the temple for the third dedicatory session as well!! It happened out of the blue (because you have to be offered, you can't just get a ticket). So now, we have a temple!!!! :) YAY!! Also, I found out that they are renovating the Buenos Aires temple!! And they'll have to re-dedicate it!! I hope I get to be there!!!
So that updates you to the first weekend of May! Now, I am moving to Utah!!!! I leave on Sunday! I will be going with my best friend Sophie Gatt and we are spending a week in Alberta first, then a night in Montana, and then s few days in Provo, UT! Then my friend might fly up from Arizona and then we will drive down to Mesa, AZ for me to meet his family! :) And then I start school at BYU!! I am going down there for the summer term! I am going into 3rd year Spanish (which is what we call "RM Spanish".. for the returned missionaries that served in Spanish-speaking countries)!! The really cool thing is, I am also taking a 16-credit exam which gives me credit for the first 2 years of Spanish too! So I will have 20 Spanish credits by the end of the Summer! I am also taking another class, probably a religion class... but maybe Linear Algebra.. I guess we'll see when I get there!!
I am living on Campus at Wyview Park. It is an apartment, with two roommates! I get my own room and they share one. It's $325 for two months!! How insane is that!? haha. I love how cheap Utah is!!
So I guess that's it!! I'm just working now... my last day is on Friday.. and trying to find time for everthing!! It's a little bit crazy!
I am super excited, but quite nervous!! I will miss the family... and Mami especially... :( BUT it will be a great growing experience and I will be FORCED to cook for myself.... I already found a website "studentrecipes.com" haha. It should get me through the summer! Let's hope so anyway! :)

Love you all and I really hope everything is well!! Bi, we want pictures of your little belly as soon as you can see it!!

Besos a todos!!!!!!
